Project leadership, cost planning and contract administration for a new-build commercial development on a rural estate.
A new-build development on a rural estate needed to move from planning through pre-construction and into procurement and delivery, with planning conditions, statutory approvals and consultant coordination all running in parallel.
Acting as project manager, principal quantity surveyor and contract administrator, we led client reporting, budget development and value engineering, set the procurement strategy and trade packaging, and coordinated the construction programme, cashflow and consultant team through to site.
One point of accountability carried the project from planning-condition coordination through tendering, trade packages and commercial management on site, keeping the programme and budget under continuous control.
This appointment falls under our client-side quantity surveying work.
